Also a harried mother of three spirited boys, Heather Widener has been an educator for over 15 years. She has worked with both gifted and learning disabled students from a variety of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds.

Heather has developed and conducted courses for parenting centers and universities and has developed K-12 curriculum for museums and arts and humanities organizations. When she can get away for a day or two, she has also been known to speak at conferences on effective strategies for educators.

From a previous life, Heather holds a BA in Language and Literature from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a MAT in Elementary Education from The Johns Hopkins University. Heather owns Widener Consulting, LLC, and works from her home in Virginia. Contact Heather.
